Who We Are and What We Do

OUR HISTORY

Lowther Consulting was established as a sole proprietorship by our founder A.C. Lowther in June 1989 after retiring from the U.S. Soil Conservation Service (SCS), now the National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). In September 2001 the one-man operation became Lowther Consulting and expanded to offices in both Abilene and Dublin, Texas. At 8:00 p.m. on September 22, 2008, our founder A.C. Lowther passed away leaving his business to his wife, Margaret N. Lowther. On October 1, 2009, the final step in the “2009 Reorganization” of Lowther Consulting was completed when Mitchell E. Lowther became the new owner of Lowther Consulting.

Qualities of character were instilled in us by our founder and father, A.C. Lowther.
